The Menagerie #2: Dragon on Trial
Logan has got all the griffins back and is now taking care of the Menagerie. Logan and his friends find that the Golden Goose has been killed, and so they’ve got to find who killed it. They search all the animals that would be meat-eaters; they even check the cameras, but the cameras’ wires had been cut. Finally they searched the dragons, and find that Scratch, who was supposed to be on lookout duty, had blood on his teeth. The SNAPA agents think that Scratch ate the goose, but Scratch says he didn’t. Later on, Logan and his friends find that Scratch looks like he is innocent; he has been eating other things, not the goose. Also, his fence-shield chip hasn’t been working. But they know the SNAPA agents won’t believe them. They also find that a Quillen is missing from Matthew’s training camp. They have to find the Quillen and get back before the dragon is condemned to execution.
There is more stuff that happens, but it is more fun to read it in the book. I thought this book was very fun. There was always stuff happening, and every chapter there was something different that was going to happen.
