The Magical Tale of Santa Dust
This is a story of a little boy and girl that worried about Santa not being able to find their house. But because they are so poor the children are told Santa may not find their house because there is no light to lead Santa to their house. The children are devastated that once again Santa will not find their house. The children are awaken in the middle of the night by a strange noise from outside and follow their dog outside to see what was all the commotion. The children find a beautiful, fancy, expensive looking red pouch. The children then discover the magical Santa dust. After reading this story, we are going to start the tradition of sprinkling Santa dust outside on Christmas Eve so Santa doesn’t have any problems finding our house this year. My favorite part is when Santa not only gave the children, mom, and dog presents but also gave them a Christmas tree because they were too poor to buy one. This is a wonderful story with beautiful pictures. I loved that the book came with our own Santa dust to start our new family tradition. We will read this story every year and sprinkle the Santa dust on Christmas Eve just like the little boy and girl do in the story.
