The Love Scam
Rake Tarbell is a rich and untroubled soul who has made quite a few mistakes. One of those mistakes would be him stuck in Venice with no recollection of the night before. Then, all of a sudden, a girl named Claire Delaney gets forced into his life with a girl she claims to be his daughter. Now, Delaney thinks ruining Rake’s life is hilarious and has no remorse for causing any problems. But when things start to get romantic between Rake and Delaney, she realizes that her mission to bring Rake his daughter won’t be as easy as she thought.
This book has romance, mystery, and friendship all in one, which makes this a very interesting read. It’s also very easy to read, and the author set up the book in a different way, which made it very compelling. The author also did a very good job with details, making it easy to imagine what is going on. It was also never boring or slow. It does have more mature parts and foul language, so I do recommend it for mature readers. All in all, I do recommend other readers to read and enjoy this book.
