The Little Pink Rosebud

The little pink rosebud is a seed, and she is very happy resting in her dark and quiet house. One day the rain and the sun came to try to visit the little pink rosebud, but she doesn’t want any visitors. The rain and the sun keep trying to get the little pink rosebud to open her door and come out with them. Finally, she opens the door, and the sun and the rain grab her tiny little hands and bring her out to the garden. The little pink rosebud was so excited to be a part of the garden and to start to grow like the other flowers.

This book was exciting to me; it is a story about how flowers grow but also about friends. The sun and the rain helped the little pink rosebud to come out even though she was shy in the beginning. The pictures in the book are beautiful, and it is fun to watch the little pink rosebud change on each page to grow from a seed into a flower with the help of the sun and the rain.
