The Knight at Dawn Graphic Novel (Magic Tree House (R))
The Knight at Dawn graphic novel is a great book for children. In this book, Jack and Annie use the magic tree house to travel to the Middle Ages. When they arrive, Annie wants to visit a castle, which gets the two of them into trouble. With quick thinking and help from a mysterious knight, Jack and Annie are able to escape and return to their home. Overall, this was a good book. It isn’t too long, and it is very easy to read. There are many nice illustrations on every page of the book. They show the castle, as well as the magic tree house. There are also many facts about castles and knights in the book. Some of these facts are used by Jack and Annie to escape from the castle. I really liked reading chapter five, in which the main characters try to hide in the castle’s armory. This book is a great way to introduce younger readers to the Magic Tree House series. I would recommend this book to kids from six to ten years old.
