The Key to Extraordinary
The Key to Extraordinary is a book about Emma Pearl Casey, a girl that lives in her family’s restaurant near a graveyard. The restaurant isn’t making enough money, so she might have to move. Emma hears one of her friends talking about a treasure that is buried beneath the city. Emma decides to try to find it to use the treasure to save the restaurant. Through many adventures, she finds out more about herself and finds out that the treasure is not money.
This is a very fast-paced book. Something new happens on virtually every page. My favorite character is Emma because she is always able to find out answers to her questions. My favorite part of the story was when Emma finally finds treasure but then finds out the treasure isn’t what she was expecting. I wish that the book had been longer because there are lots of funny parts. I would recommend this book to my friends. I want to read more books by this author because I thought this book was well-written.
