The Homeless Foal

Ella lives at a hospital for animals called Animal Mansion. While her neighbor has to go to the hospital, Ella and her brother have to take care of her pregnant horse, and the horse gives birth. But when the neighbor comes back, she can’t take care of the horses anymore. Ella wants to be near the horses, but it looks like the best place for the horses to go would be far away. Ella has a good friend named Annie, who loves the horses too, but Annie’s mom wants to get rid of Animal Mansion because she thinks it is too noisy. But then Ella thinks of a way that she can solve both of her problems!

This is a pretty fun story for children who are just starting to read longer books. It has chapters that are pretty short, and it has fun pictures that help you understand what is happening in the story, and you will like the people in the book. Ella and Caleb are fun to read about, and it is fun to think about being with all the animals they get to take care of. If you like animals you will like this book, too.
