The Home Alone Kitten
Animal Rescue Center: The Home Alone Kitten is a book about Caleb and Ella finding Jake Adams’ adopted pet, Charlie the kitten. Soccer star Jake was invited to the Animal Rescue Center’s Anniversary to participate in the Perfect Pet–Perfect Owner match. It all started when Ella and Caleb went to Jake’s home, Crystal Park Manor, and Caleb spotted the fluffy orange and white kitten peeking out of the bushes. Both of them panicked. They tried to catch him, but he fell into the pool. Super Caleb to the rescue! Caleb saved Charlie before he drowned. The flow of the story is very good and moves fast. It keeps us interested til end. It is suitable for second grade or above kids. The pictures in this book are really cute and suited very well for Charlie. The moral is, if you take responsibility then be responsible; especially don’t let a pet be on its own.
