The Goblin Crown: Billy Smith and the Goblins, Book 1
The Goblin Crown: Billy Smith and the Goblins, Book 1 is a great book. It is the story of Billy Smith and an amazing Goblin world. He ends up transported to the Goblin world with Lexy, a girl he likes, and Kurt, a boy who hates him. They are just regular kids at school, and then they are fighting to save the Goblins from the horrible Hanorians that are invading. They are also struggling to find a way home. They seem like a surprising set of people to end up together fighting this battle. Billy ends up getting help from the Goblin leader, and they learn all about this history and mythology of the human Goblin King.
If you like Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings and other fantasy-type writing, you will probably like this book. The story tells us all about the Goblin world and how Billy learns to be himself and to be strong. Sometimes the story gets a little confusing. But it is worth it. I love all the detail about the Goblin world, about Goblins, and about Goblin culture you learn about in the book. You definitely feel like you have been transported there with Billy.
