“The Gloomy Ghost” is about a boy named Rory who is in kindergarten. He accidentally breaks the TV and hides in bushes with red berries. His brother says to not eat them because they are poisonous but his brother lies all the times so when Rory gets hungry he eats them. After a couple of minutes he almost dies and is on the brink of death and turns into a ghost. When he turns into a ghost, no one can any longer hear or see him and when he needs to get fixed and healed he needs to be found! When he is ready he gets into bad trouble which means he may remain a ghost forever!

My favorite part is when Rory has to go to the Wingston House because it is haunted by ghosts and he needs help from them. If he doesn’t figure out a way to live he will never be able to be human again.

There is nothing that I really didn’t like about this book but it was too short, and for this reason I gave it a 3.5.
