The Gingerbread Man Loose at The Zoo
This book is full of rhyming and riddles. The gingerbread man went on a field trip with his class to the zoo, but he got lost when the giraffe licked him up and started eating him! He escaped from the giraffe, but his class had gone on without him, so he had to follow the clues to see if he could figure out where they had gone. He saw the monkeys, the rhinos, the lions, the elephants and bears, and the naked mole rats. The crocodile and the fox wanted to eat him, but he quickly escaped and found the baby kangaroo, which had become lost from its mama. When he found the kangaroo’s mother, he found his class, too.
The pictures are interesting and very cute, and you will have fun looking at these cartoon-like animals that the gingerbread man runs past. The words are fun to read, too; you even get to find out a few little facts about some of the animals, like that the giraffe has a super long, blue tongue. This is a fun new adventure for a gingerbread man that you will really like.
