The Giant Jumperee
There is someone hiding in Rabbit’s burrow. A loud voice saying, “I’m the Giant Jumperee” scared Rabbit. He goes to his friends Cat, Bear, and Elephant for help, but everyone is scared of the Giant Jumperee. The Giant Jumperee is as tall as a tree, scary as can be, and can sting like a bee. Can Momma Frog be brave and get the Giant Jumperee to come out?
I really liked The Giant Jumperee because it was funny and the words rhymed. The illustrations were really pretty and helped make the story even funnier. When the cat got scared of the Giant Jumperee, the illustrations show him all puffed up and scared like a real cat. This made me laugh. I think this book would be great to read for a preschool or kindergarten class.
