The Ghouls’ Guide to Good Grammar
This book is really fun for homeschoolers! I like this book not just because it has a funny storyline for Halloween, but also because it can make learning about grammar fun! Who knew ghouls had to know all about grammar? This cute book teaches many different things, such as punctuation like apostrophes, quotations, homophones like “there,” “their,” and “they’re,” and how adding or not having commas in a sentence can change the entire meaning of the words in that sentence.
A Ghouls’ Guide to Good Grammar has really fun and colorful illustrations. This is perfect for this season of the year to prepare for Halloween. You can follow Vanessa Vampire and her ghost and ghoul friends through their neighborhood to see where they end up as they dissect everyone’s grammar! This book is really fun and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a little extra help in the language arts area, or just as a fun book to read in general!
