The Genius of Egypt

The Genius Of Egypt is an interesting picture book about Imhotep, the healer and royal advisor of ancient Egypt. The story tells us about how Imhotep grows up, a little about his childhood, and how different he was from others his age. He went to school to be a scribe, but eventually he discovered his true gift of healing people. He helped many people and also worked as an advisor for a Pharaoh.

This book taught me a lot about the history of ancient Egypt and what people believed back then. It tells the whole myth and story, and the end of the book shows some of the real artifacts that have been found.

The very vivid pictures brought this book and story to life. I enjoyed this read because I’m really interested in history and love to learn more about how people lived back in those times.

I recommend this book to kids ages 8 and up.
