The Friendly Bookshelf
The Friendly Bookshelf is the story of a lonely bookshelf who makes friends with a lonely girl in the library. The bookshelf’s name is Bibli, and he likes it when kids get books from his shelves, but this doesn’t happen very often because he is in the back of the library where nobody visits. Bibli becomes sad when he can’t find a book anywhere in the library that is about a bookshelf. He gets help from his friend Cassie after she notices how nice he is to her and everyone else.
I liked The Friendly Bookshelf because I like when people and things are kind to each other. I didn’t like how the other bookshelves treated Bibli, but I became happy once Cassie started helping him, making him happy again. Kids of all ages will like this book, especially ones who visit the library and pull books from the shelves.
