The Forbidden Library

This book, “The Forbidden Library” is fiction about a girl named Alice whose dad dies and has to go live with her strange uncle on an estate called The Library. It has a library in it, too, but she’s not allowed inside without being accompanied by someone. Alice spends her time investigating her father’s death and uncovers all kinds of mysterious things. She turns out to be a reader, there’s a talking cat, and she also finds out about her uncle who really turns out to be someone completely different!

My favorite part of this book is when Alice has the fight of her life but I won’t spoil it here! I also liked the talking cat a lot who goes into a prison book and down into the dungeon and the only way they can get out is by another reader’s help! I rate this book a 5+ stars because I really enjoyed reading a book about reading! It has magical creatures and it was just fun to read it. I also liked this book because it made me want to keep reading, I can’t wait to find out if there’s going to be a sequel!
