Marco B. is in the car with his mom, dad and sister. He loves when the window goes down so he can stick his hand out of it. The flying hand is irresistible to him, so even if his mother asks him to put it back in, Marco B. does not listen. Once he sticks it way out, and it is just a bit too much: the wind sucks him out of the car. He starts flying out and up high. He sees things become small. Then, he sees the whole earth and the darkness of outer space. He realizes that, while it is easy to fly up high, it is not so easy to fly back down. He gets scared. He finds out that curling up into a ball works for coming down. And magically, he flies back down into his car without his family noticing anything. He learned his lesson: he will never stick his hand out of the car again!

I liked this book! Marco B.’s adventure in outer space was really exciting, although a bit scary. It reminded me to never stick my hand out the window, as Mom says it is very dangerous.
