The First Conspiracy (Young Reader’s Edition): The Secret Plot to Kill George Washington

George Washington is one of the most easily recognized Presidents of the United States but not everyone knows how he came to be the first president. George Washington had joined the army after his brother’s death and had served for the King. When the people of America are getting sick of the King’s rule and decide to separate from England and become their own country. This is the start of the Revolutionary war. George had been in the army for many years by now, however now he is leading one of the army groups into war but this makes him a target. George gets a message from a man saying that someone he knew was planning on killing him, so now George is going into the war while someone is trying to assassinate him at the same time.

This book is good for people who like learning about the stuff in America’s history. It is also something interesting because this event in America’s history is not frequently talked about the way some other conspiracies in our history are. Another good thing is that the story will help you fully grasp what’s going on in the story. All and all it’s a good well-rounded book about America’s history.
