The Doodle Book of Feel Good: A Doodle/Coloring Book for All Ages
This is a first for me. I’ve never reviewed a doodle book before. They’re all created equal right? Actually, once I started paying attention to the details, I found that doodle books do vary in quality. First, there is the quality of the drawings. Some books are simply not fun to color. This one has interesting designs that were fun to fill in. Second, some have thin pages, and your pens will bleed into the page on the back. This doodle book has nice, thick paper so you can use ink without fear. Markers will bleed through, however. I used colored pencils and gel pens, which worked well.
I have to admit that I wasn’t a fan of the sayings, but I prefer funny sayings, and I have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor. If you use smiley face emoticons, you’ll probably like the sayings in this book just fine. I ended up giving this book to a girl friend (NOT a girlfriend) of mine, and she really liked it. She also has sparkly stuff on her shirts.
