The Dog, Ray

I think that The Dog, Ray is an amazing book. It is about a girl named Daisy. She and her father were in a car accident. Daisy was killed, but her father survived. Unfortunately, Daisy’s father ended up paralyzed. Afterwards, Daisy was just a soul. She was supposed to come back to life as another human, but she made a mistake and came back as a dog! Daisy (or Misty, since that was her new name) was determined to get back to her original parents, despite the struggles of being a dog. The Dog, Ray was a very touching and heartwarming book. Some parts were very sad, but the book did have a happy ending. I like how you can see the world from the point of view of a dog. It was very interesting. I could really see how dogs actually feel and could see their different struggles. I really loved The Dog, Ray, and I recommend it for ages nine to thirteen.
