At first glance, you’d never know you were just reading a companion guide without reading the title. The cover is very appealing and fits nicely alongside the Divergent series of books. The first that that caught my eye was the font. I am unsure what it is, but it makes reading smooth and flawless and I wonder why it isn’t used more? Next, are nine chapters where readers get down and dirty learning the ins and outs of this series and I bet most who have read the books will still be in for a treat and realize there was so much they missed. But not now. Here are the facts, quizzes, a breakdown of the factions, and so much more just handed to you in one book.

The only thing this book was missing were some color photos, maybe even just a few towards the middle to really amplify the characters, especially since there is a movie out for it. Whether you have read the books or just seen the movie, this book is a perfect addition to the world of Divergent and the price is definitely right!
