The Creepy Case Files of Margo Maloo: The Monster Mall
Margo Maloo is a monster investigator. Margo protects monsters and kids. She met Charles in the first book, when he had a problem with a troll in the basement. The recap at the beginning of this book is good. You can read this book without reading the first book.
This book has three stories in it. In the first story, some kids call Margo because they think their house is possessed. Charles comes with her to learn more about monsters so he can get information for a website to keep kids and monsters safe. In the second story, a group of vampires call Margo because some human kids from the first book are breaking into the abandoned mall where the vampires live. In the epilogue, Margo helps someone she meets in the first story.
This book is a graphic novel. I really like the style of the pictures. My favorite character is a monster named Fyo. This is my favorite kind of book, with clever little mysteries that aren’t solved at the end of the book. It’s funny and interesting. There are case files, including information about different monsters. They add to the story. I like all the Margo Maloo books. I will absolutely read the next book in the series.
