The Complete Adventures of Johnny Mutton
Johnny Mutton is a sheep. He is adopted by Momma Mutton. She is not a sheep. She is a person. Momma has a secret weapon during staring contests. (Read the book to find out what it is.) Johnny is so happy. He doesn’t listen to others and does whatever he wants. (I think Johnny is a good role model. Kids shouldn’t do what everyone else does.) His best friend is Gloria Crust. They became friends at Halloween. She liked his costume. Johnny was a giant, runny nose. Mandy was a giant box of tissues. Johnny likes cherries. (Do you think that on Spaghetti Day, he has a cherry on top of his spaghetti? There’s a high chance!) Ms. Bottoms teaches manners. Johnny teaches her how to eat like he does and have fun. My favorite characters are Johnny and Momma. The pictures are funny! Everyone who likes funnies, laughs, stuff like that, will like this book. “I Believe” is the best story in the book. (I believe there is something funny in it.) I also like the interview with the author. (The funniest thing was what he said he wanted on the island.) I would read more books by this author.
