The Code Breaker — Young Readers Edition: Jennifer Doudna and the Race to Understand Our Genetic Code
Jennifer Doudna is from Hilo Hawaii. She isn’t like other kids, because she has blond hair and blue eyes. One day she finds a book and reads the book. She thinks it’s really good, and it encourages her to experiment with science and DNA. The story is about her struggle to work in science, mainly in DNA and RNA research.
The original version of this book was written for adults and my dad read it and enjoyed it. This version, The Code Breaker — Young Readers Edition: Jennifer Doudna and the Race to Understand Our Genetic Code, is for ages ten and up.
I tried to read this book but I did not have enough interest, so I did not finish it. I think other people might really enjoy this book, but it wasn’t really for me because I didn’t really get to know the characters well, and it was a little hard to follow along.
