The Christmas Extravaganza Hotel

Lydia, age four, reviewed this book for me. Being as it is not Christmas time yet, I was pleased that she still enjoyed the book. Her review goes: “I liked the pictures, especially the last page with bear and frog on the sleigh.” I asked her why that’s her favorite part, and she responded that she likes seeing them happy, with smiles on their faces. She also liked the part with the reindeer; when asked why, she said she liked that they were seen earlier in the book, and then again on the last page, and they always had smiles on their faces. “I liked the really tall Christmas tree and how the page turned sideways.” She liked seeing how the tree sparkled with the snow and that there were birds sitting on it and chirping. Overall, she liked seeing frog so happy because bear was being a good person and eventually becoming a good friend. “I liked that they got a sleigh from Santa”; this was understandable since she looks forward to her presents from Santa herself!
