The Changelings

I think that //The Changelings// is a good book. It is about when a girl named Izzy travels to Faerie to find her sister, Hen. One day, Izzy follows her mysterious neighbor, Marian Malloy, into a mysterious place. Izzy lost Hen, so she thought Hen was there. Marian tells Izzy about Faerie. It is a magical place with creatures called changelings. They are like shapeshifters, but they can only turn into a few animals. The mysterious place (which is called Netherbee by the way) leads to Faerie, which is where Hen actually is. Then, Izzy leaves Marian behind and goes into Faerie alone. Hen is in the city of Avhalon, so Izzy must travel there. She meets three changelings named Lug, Dree, and Selden and they agree to help Izzy find Hen. They go on a long journey through Faerie to get to Avhalon. They faced many problems, but Izzy eventually found Hen with Queen Moravanna. To get Hen back, they had to battle Queen Moravanna. Eventually, they won and after a few goodbyes, Izzy and Hen made it back to Earth. I think that //The Changelings// was a very adventurous and magical. It was a good book and I recommend it for ages 9-13.
