The Cat’s Pajamas

Well, this cat named Louis wanted to be different than everybody else. This was in a time when all the cats wore clothes, and went to school and to work. And so he dressed differently – he wore a cape and a hat and stars on his shoes – and then everyone else dressed like that a little bit later. He tried a new outfit with a purple jacket the next day, and the same thing happened. The third time, he didn’t try out a new outfit; he just went to school with pajamas on!

I like this book but I don’t like that there are all the copycats. It is very silly that they won’t wear what they like; they only wear what Louis wears. The ending was funny because it was surprising at the end, and when you read it you will know why cats don’t wear clothing now! You will have to read this book if you want to know why. I liked the pictures; the cats had funny expression and wore funny clothes. I think other children will like this book too.
