The Brain Storm
The Brain Storm is a book about a boy who wakes up in a horrible mood and leaks his brain storm everywhere. You don’t know the boy’s name or his age because this story isn’t told in words, but it is told through pictures. Every page is a picture, and most pages have the scribbly, black lines of brain storm all over them. Through the illustrations, the boy seems upset and gets kicked out of fun things because of his nasty brain storm. Everyone tries to change the shape of the brain storm, including the boy himself. He eventually uses his creativity to have fun with his brain storm and he brainstorms ways to use something that seems negative. I recommend this book for kids who cannot read and kids who like to make up their own stories. I wish this book had words. I was surprised that it didn’t. The illustrations are cool but not cool enough to want to keep visiting this book over and over.
