This book is about a boy, his dog, and the neighbor. The neighbor has some plain boxes that she is trying to throw away. The boy uses his imagination to pretend the boxes are exciting things to have adventures with. When he is done having adventures, there is a big mess! Then the boy lies so that he doesn’t have to help clean up. That is not the right thing to do.

I really enjoyed this funny fiction story. I like this story because the boy uses his imagination like me. I thought the illustrations of the boy’s imaginations were wonderful too! I also liked that Miss Finn turns red in the story. That was a funny part! The best part of the story was when the boy told the truth and when he helped Miss Finn clean up the big mess. It is important to help our friends and family. Telling the truth made everyone happy and friends. I hope all boys and girls learn that telling the truth is the right thing to do.
