The Big Bad Fox
“I’ll huff, and puff, and BLOW YOUR HOUSE DOWN!” Those words were said by the big bad wolf, but now a former big bad fox is having trouble scaring the chickens–oh my. Who’s afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? Definitely not me, that’s for sure. The Big Bad Fox is struggling to scare the farm, and while the fox is “terrorizing” the farm, some animals take pity on him and give him turnips just because of the sad excuse of his poorly executed “attack.” On the way back, the fox encounters a much scarier fox, capable of scaring the farm silly. They devise a plan to go get a hen’s eggs. But after that? A whole new level of comedy.
I must say, I still remember the story of the Big Bad Wolf from a long time ago, but this take is much better. This book has sharp humor, funny messages, and, most of all, enjoyable art. I always liked drawings, and I really appreciate the time the artist put into this. It has a pleasant calming tone that matches perfectly with the plot.
