The Best Parts of Christmas

A little boy named Fritz loves Christmas, but his favorite part is the Christmas tree. He gets to go with his parents to pick out the tree. They cut the tree down, and my mom said we could do that one year. We used to have a real tree but it is super messy. His job is to decorate the Christmas tree. His mom tells him to spread out the ornaments, but he has a different idea. I love that Fritz thinks that anything can be an ornament. I feel the same way, which gave me some ideas of ways to decorate our Christmas tree. My favorite part is the end when Fritz doesn’t want Christmas to end and he thinks of a way to make Christmas last all year. This book is short and sweet. The pictures are great and kept my attention. I liked comparing how Fritz decorated the tree with how I decorated our Christmas tree. This is a great book to read and celebrate at Christmas time. I would recommend this book to my friends to read with their mom and dad too.
