The Bear’s Sea Escape
Papa Bear and Little Bear are looking for a cave to sleep in, because it’s winter. (Bears hibernate.) One of them falls and leaves a butt print in the snow. The pictures in this book are fun. You look for Papa Bear and Little Bear in each of the pictures. Papa Bear decides to sleep in a toy shop with stuffed bears. A boy thinks Little Bear is a teddy bear and takes him. Papa Bear follows on a scooter. The little boy arrives at the train station. The train goes to a boat. Papa Bear sees his Little Bear but can’t get to him. Papa Bear looks on the boat, in the sea, on the beach, in the jungle, in a conga line. Will he ever find Little Bear? Read the book to find out. (It has a happy ending.) I like that I can play I-Spy. You can find things in the pictures like a mermaid, a peacock, an aardvark sniffing a flower, a baby monkey, a whale. My favorite thing about this book is the little bear. He is cute. People who like I-Spy and bears will like to read this book, because they have to find bears. I can read this book myself.
