The Babysitter Chronicles: Elisabeth and the Unwanted Advice

Elizabeth and the Unwanted Advice is funny story about a girl who gets some bad advice and some good advice and doesn’t know which is which. Elizabeth is a very athletic girl who usually does not care about boys, but suddenly she starts noticing a certain Lance Thompson at school. She knows that he likes tennis, so she decides to try out for the tennis team, only to find to her dismay that her parents will only pay half of the cost. So she decides to babysit to get some money, and that is when the tips come in.

I definitely feel like during the book you get to know the characters really well, and all of their great personalities really shone through. The plot was interesting and very believable. The illustrations were very bright, colorful, and full of energy and fun. Anyone who can read chapter books should read this book. This book would and does make great series filled with action and laughs. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone my age, and I rate this a fifty thumbs up.
