The Astounding Broccoli Boy
This book was about two kids who inexplicably turn green, and get sent to a secret hospital. The main character is named Rory Rooney. Rory is the smallest kid in his class, and Tommy-Lee is the class bully. They both turn green out of nowhere. They work together to become super heroes, and try to save the world with a penguin that thinks guns are sardines. This book has a lot of action like: jumping off of boats, standing on skyscrapers, and so much more. They get in trouble a lot when they are green, and people think they should dissect them (which is against the law).
I love this book because it has a lot of action and comedy. It was a little confusing when they teleport because, somehow, they jumped off a skyscraper, and didn’t became sidewalk jam. I like that when they try to do something right, it turns out they make things worse. But I wish the book was longer. If a person likes penguins and action, this book would be their favorite book of all time.
