The Armadillo Who Came for Dinner
An unexpected group of animals appear to be friends at a picnic when an armadillo rolls through. Armadillos are tough, so no matter what goes on he doesn’t need a hug. Or so he thinks until he crashes into everything and the best way for his friend sheep to make him feel better is a hug. Just because you are rough doesn’t mean you don’t need a hug.
This book is so cute. It instantly became a family favorite. We have read it so many times. My favorite part is the fact that the alligator and sheep are best friends. In any other story you would think an alligator would eat the sheep. I like that the armadillo realizes he can be tough and still need a hug.
