Once there was so much rain that it started to flood. Then they found Mr. Noah, and he let them all on board his ark. The rains and the storm lasted for several days and nights. All the animals have to find things to do while they are waiting for the rain to stop. Some play hide and go seek, some play mazes, and some play dominoes. Some have competitions or play leapfrog or take naps. Sometimes they get grumpy because the cat sharpens her claws in the wrong places and the rhinos took up too much space. And one time there is a really bad storm. Then one night there was still a flood but no rain, and a bird searched for land. She came back with some good news that there was a place to make a new home.

This book has great pictures that show you what the animals did during the flood and the rain. They are so cute! The pictures look like they were drawn with colored pencils and the animals look really nice. I like this book because it shows lions, tigers, birds, giraffes, elephants, hedgehogs, and all sorts of animals and they all mostly get along!
