The Ambrose Deception
An adventurous story about three students competing for a prize. Melissa, Bondi, and Wilf get chosen to compete for a $10,000 scholarship. Each of them gets three different clues to solve. These clues lead them to mysterious places in Chicago. As they look for the answers, they start to wonder where this is really leading them.
I liked the characters. They seem like real people…who could have been my friends or classmates. Melissa was my favorite character because she was very brave and smart.
There are not a lot of illustrations in the book. But the ones that were there were helpful.
This story would be perfect for kids who like to read stories about adventures. I think the moral of this book is that you should never quit. I like this book because I like adventurous stories. This book was also very confusing because there was so much going on.
I would recommend this book because it’s a happy book. Things happen that you don’t expect, which makes it more interesting.
