The Adventurers Guild #2 Twilight of the Elves

After a group of nearly-dead elves relate that their city has been completely destroyed by this weird necromancer, Zed and his friends have to go on a journey and battle a lot of undead monsters. Lots of people are killed by these monsters, and it is pretty scary. Zed and friends get captured and they escape, and then they finally get to the city of the elves that had been destroyed. But then, in one last heart-stopping moment, when they think they have defeated the necromancer, they find they haven’t actually done what they thought at all.

This book was just weird. The series needed to be continued, but it didn’t need to be continued like this. There was really no purpose in reading this story; it was just doom and gloom all the time. It was a very strange, unpleasant book, and I did not like it at all. This is the second book in the series, and while the first also had a lot of dying and also was gruesome, it was much better than this one. I hope they do not come out with any other books in the series; even if they do, I won’t be reading them.
