The Acadia Files: Book Two, Autumn Science
Acadia is interested in her environment. She wants to learn more things about science and her world. Her friends help her to learn and go on adventures and do science experiments about their environment. In this book, Acadia is interested in autumn science. Acadia wants to learn about the effect of litter at her local pond, why the leaves change color, and how germs are passed from person to person. Acadia does science experiments with her mom and her friends, Isabel and Joshua. My favorite experiment in this book was about germs. Acadia and her friends realized that germs can be anywhere and can be passed on to other people after they had a big Halloween candy swap.
I love the Acadia books. Each book makes learning science interesting and fun. This book especially taught me about different things in the environment. Acadia is a great role model for girls who like science. She has a lot of fun doing her experiments with her mom and her friends. I imagine that I would like to be friends with Acadia because we are both interested in science.
