Thank Goodness It’s T-ball Day! is a fun book about a boy and his friends and how they learn baseball. As part of practicing, not only did they learn the game, they also learned lifelong rules of HONORING the game, RESPECTING others, and being part of your COMMUNITY. The story is something happening in the daily lives of most of us. The interesting thing is how it is told here, which makes this book the perfect realistic fiction that could happen to anyone. When Coach talked about spaghetti arms, windmill, and helicopter, it was very understandable about the pitching and made it interesting to play baseball.

The book is written in very simple and easy language, and illustrations are very bright and colorful and well suited for the story. I would recommend this book to 1st to 4th grade students. This book would make a fun series, like Pizza Pie Day, and Magic Bat Day, etc. At the end of the book, there were quizzes and puzzles about the story and a game, which makes the reading fun and memorable. One good thing about this book: it not only has an interesting story, it also makes you want to play baseball. It is so good, so go ahead and read it.
