T. Rexes Can’t Tie Their Shoes

Of course T. Rexes can’t tie their shoes, their arms are much too short! Also, how did the T. Rex even get his shoes on? Many books are loaded with animal facts about what animals can do and their abilities, but this book is loaded with facts with what animals CANNOT do!! This book is filled with comical pictures of various animals that coordinate with every letter of the alphabet. This book has funny pictures of things animals can’t do, like dogs doing the dishes or zebras ziplining.

I did like the funny and bright illustrations for each letter, but I was also disappointed there weren’t more hidden illustrations of things that start with the letter in each picture. I found the illustrations to be funny, but also boring. I really enjoyed the silly illustrations at the end of the book of all the animals interacting and the fun stuff they were doing. It would’ve been nice to see more of that throughout the book. Overall, this book is great for kids who want to learn more about animals and what they can’t do and the alphabet.
