We rated this book:

I rate this book a “5” because I liked it. The book is about pirates, friends, and swapping. A little boy wanted his pirate friend to be happy so he swapped stuff to help him get his friend what he wanted. He started swapping with something small and kept swapping until he got what he was looking for—even big stuff. The word swap also means trading. I trade with my friends to get what I want too like the little boy in the book.

The little boy was my favorite character because he was cute and helpful. The book is for boys, I don’t think girls would like this book because they don’t like pirates. I liked the illustrations the best. They were wonderful. I would recommend this book because I want someone else to enjoy it.

The book was easy for me to read. I like that some pages were like comic books with no words. I was able to follow the illustrations really easily and they made the book better.
