Sunny and Stormy

This is the sweetest story about sisters, and how they go from disliking one another to realizing that they need each other. Stormy wants to be admired like Sunny. Stormy. However, when Sunny stays out too long and starts to make all the plants wither, the townspeople actually look forward to Stormy. It just goes to show you can sometimes have too much of a good thing,

The illustrations are so pretty in this book, with their vibrant colors. They are very expressive. This book also has a great message about balance and how we may not always want something like storms, but we do need them for crops to grow and other reasons. I think this is a great book for young readers to learn more about balance.
