Summer Camp: Nina’s Not Boy Crazy! (She Just Likes Boys)

Nina is visiting her best friend Emily, and she decides she wants to go somewhere. Nina does not want to go, so Emily goes alone, and her brother Zach asks if Nina wants to play FIFA on his Xbox. That is when Nina starts noticing Zach. She knows he is off limits because of their rule (sisters before misters), but she can’t help stuttering a yes even though she hates Xbox. As she gets to know him, she discovers that he is a likable guy and even wins a game of Stratego against him. Will she keep the truth away from Emily? Only time will tell as Camp Mon Mon Lake continues.

I definitely feel like during the book you get to know the characters really well, and all of their great personalities really shone through. The plot was interesting and very believable. The illustrations were very bright, colorful, and full of energy and fun. Anyone who can read chapter books should read this book. This book would and does make a great series filled with action and laughs. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone my age, and I rate this a five hundred thumbs up.
