Such a Little Mouse
This story is about a little mouse that collects food and puts it in his storeroom, which is deep, deep in his hole. He collects the food that he’ll eat so it will give him energy while he sleeps through winter. The little mouse meets some animals along the way while he collects his food during the Spring, the Summer, and the Fall. When Winter comes, the little mouse pops out of his hole. But, snow covers everything, so he goes back down his hole to eat, and then goes to sleep until Spring.
I always know when the next season comes because the words say the same thing about the little mouse popping out of his hole. The pictures are so cute! I love when the little mouse visits a toad that lives under a flowerpot. The little mouse thinks that it is dark in there, but the toad says, “That’s the way I like it.” My favorite pictures are when the little mouse bakes bread and makes soup. While he eats, the little mouse cuddles under his favorite blanket and reads his favorite book of mouse tales. I recommend this great story to all of my friends.
