Stinetinglers: All New Stories by the Master of Scary Tales (Stinetinglers, 1)
In R.L. Stine’s long-awaited newest collection of short stories, a monster maker brings one of his creations to life, a basketball player’s skin starts to peel off, and a boy finds a book that could change his life… All of these stories relate to real life and real things and are all thoroughly enjoyable! Super fun and quick-paced, these stories have a short buildup but a nice reveal at the end of each one. Get ready to be scared!
I’m a big fan of the Goosebumps series, and really enjoyed this installment! These aren’t as scary as some of his other stuff, but I liked all the individual stories anyway. My favorites were “The Ghost in the Car” and “The Boy Who Heard Screams,” although the others were pretty good, too. These were entertaining and relatable in a way, and I liked how all of them were reflections of kids’ actual fears. So if you dare, dive into this collection of ten scary stories and be prepared to be sleeping with the lights on tonight! I would recommend this to ages twelve and up.
