Stewart’s Best Pen
A boy named Stewart finds a pen at summer camp and they become best friends. The pen’s name is Craig. Stewart and Craig play together, they get autographs, play pranks, and write ransom notes. One day, Craig goes missing and Stewart looks for him everywhere. Will these two friends find each other?
I really liked reading Stewart’s Best Pen. It was amazing. The illustrations were my favorite part of the book because they made the book more funny. I liked the picture that showed them each doodling and Craig does a perfect picture of a vampire and Stewart’s looks like a little kid drew it. I though the name of the summer camp was really funny, “Camp Aye-Wanah-Go-Hom”.
I loved this book from start to finish and even love the picture on the back of the two caps, Stewart’s red ball cap and Craig’s blue pen cap. I think those who are learning to read would like this book because there weren’t too many words and it was easy to read. I think kids would like how silly Stewart’s Best Pen is and I hope they love ending as much as I do.
