Stay-at-Home Sammy and the Runaway Spot

Sammy was a leopard. One morning she woke up and saw that one of her spots had disappeared! Then she found it, and she chased it with tape, but finally she decided to let it out the window. The spot had all sorts of adventures, like playing sports and traveling the world. One day it decided to come home, and their lives have never been the same.

I like this book because it has cute pictures. I liked seeing the adventures that the spot got into. The best picture is the one that shows the spot’s adventures – that page opens up and tells about the spot while the outside pages show Sammy sitting and wondering what the spot is doing. I think Sammy made a good choice to let her spot go free. And they are still friends even though Sammy stayed home and the spot went on an adventure. Sammy looks like a nice leopard, and it is funny that she likes to drink cocoa! I think little children will like this book because they will like looking at the pictures.
