Starring Me and You (Piggy and Bunny)
“Where are you? The stage is ready. Let’s put on a play!” I thought I was going to like this book because I would be Bunny and Mommy would be Piggy. This book is about two friends who are doing flowers and pirates. They are putting on a play. When Mommy and I are Piggy and Bunny then it is like we are putting on a play. The font changes when the characters talk. In this story, Piggy and Bunny have a disagreement. Bunny doesn’t like pirates and Piggy doesn’t like flowers. “I want to do MY play! I want to do it MY way!” That makes me say, “Whoops!” What can two friends do to solve a problem? I like how Piggy and Bunny stay friends. “Whatever we are, whatever we do, the stage is always big enough for me and you.” The illustrations look like drawings with watercolor paint. My favorite picture is when they have the curtains for the stage because I love theatres. This is a good book to read with Mommy.
