Star Wars The Force Awakens: Rey’s Story is about Rey, a girl who lives on a desert planet, Jakku. She lives in the wreckage of a crashed star ship from an old war. One day, she finds a teedo alien with a net containing a BB-8 droid. When Unkar is willing to trade the BB-8 droid for a years’ worth of food, Rey realizes he is something special. Rey wonders why a perfectly good droid is alone on a desert planet. What secret does BB-8 hold?

On her journey, Rey meets a boy named Finn. They save each other and end up in the Millenium Falcon, Hans Solo’s old star ship. Finn has secrets of his own — but will he be honest with Rey about his past?

Kylo Ren is a warrior of the evil First Order. They are the bad guys who fight the good guys of the Resistance. Why does Kylo Ren want BB-8 so badly?

This story is fun, exciting, and a little scary. Although this is not a picture book, there are a few pictures throughout the story, which I really enjoyed.
